SNOW Leopard OSX 10.6

It seems Apple has mistakenly revealed the timescale for the launch of its next operating system. Apple's director of engineering of Unix Technologies, Jordan Hubbard, showed the expected date for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard in a slide at the Large Installation System Administration Conference.
Snow Leopard is apparently scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2009 possibly at the Macworld Expo. Given that Apple is focusing on performance, stability and reliability rather than adding features for the next release of Mac OS X, a January release maybe too ambitious. Click Here

Watch Videos, Music Clips, TV & Movies

Joost was once tipped as the future of entertainment, but suffered setbacks from its scant content and reliance on rather bloated software. Now, like the BBC iPlayer, the service has relaunched with a web-based Flash version, which makes watching films and TV shows much easier. The number of videos has doubled to more than 46,000, although licensing issues means that not all of them can be viewed in the UK. You can watch everything from music, sports, news and movies for FREE. :-) Click Here

ISP Warning UK Pirates

Piracy would be massively reduced if offenders received a warning from their Internet service provider, according to a wide-ranging survey of digital entertainment activity in the U.K. Among the ISPs signed to the agreement are Virgin Media, Orange, Tiscali, The Carphone Warehouse and BSkyB.

  Google vs White House

Earlier this year, Google overturned a government subpoena that attempted to force dozens of internet companies to make available huge banks of data on web users' habits. The government claimed it wanted access to records of internet searches and online activity to help identify suspected terrorists and observe dangerous patterns of behavior.
